About New Viral Trends
New Viral Trends is a daily trend discovery platform that surfaces emerging viral topics before they peak. We scan major online communities every day, score trends by their momentum and relevance, and publish deep-dive guides that give you the full picture — fast.
What We Do
Every morning, our automated scanning system analyzes activity across platforms like Reddit, identifying topics that are gaining traction — not ones that have already peaked. We rank these trends using a viral score that considers upvote velocity, comment engagement, and cross-community spread.
For the highest-scoring trends, we generate comprehensive guides covering the context,
key details, comparisons, and frequently asked questions. Each guide lives on its own
dedicated page (e.g., motorola-headphone-jack.newviraltrends.com) with content
optimized for search and readability.
Why We Built This
The internet moves fast. By the time a trend hits mainstream news, it's often already peaking. We wanted a way to catch trends early — while there's still time to understand them, act on them, or simply enjoy being ahead of the curve.
How Our Trend Score Works
Trends are scored on a 1–10 scale based on:
- Momentum: How quickly the topic is gaining attention
- Engagement: Comment depth and discussion quality
- Cross-community spread: Whether the topic appears across multiple communities
- Recency: How new the topic is relative to its peak
Our Content Standards
We're committed to publishing content that provides genuine value. Every guide includes original analysis, properly sourced references, and practical takeaways. We don't publish clickbait or empty filler — if a trend isn't worth a full guide, we don't build one.
Privacy & Data
